About Parade of Hearts
Kansas City has long been a staple location in America’s Heartland, with the Heart of America logo being sported in various ways, from KC Heart merch to the Kansas City Monarchs Negro League Baseball team. To further instill local pride and unification among us all, the Parade of Hearts gave Kansas City-based artists five-foot hearts to decorate however they see fit. Then, these hearts are displayed across the KC area as a visual representation of coming together and showcasing our big hearts here in the Heartland.
The Parade of Hearts goal is to bring everyone together through these beautiful art displays, aid local economy and tourism, and raise funds for people in the area most drastically impacted by the pandemic.
