More About Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization focused on helping children and spouses of fallen or disabled military members achieve their academic goals, whether that’s K-12 or higher education. It all began when the founder of the organization, Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, witnessed the struggles families face when a loved one in uniform gets injured or makes the ultimate sacrifice. Since then, he’s been determined to help these families reach their educational dreams. The organization delivered its first scholarship in 2007 and has provided over 35,000 since.
