At first, the Texas Rangers seemed like an unstoppable force in the MLB Playoffs; then, they had to work a little harder against the Houston Astros in the ALCS. During the League Championship Series, the Texas Rangers had to fight hard to continue in the postseason – and all their hard work paid off. The Rangers held off the reigning champions to complete the series 4-3 and solidify their spot in the 2023 MLB World Series, marking their first championship appearance since 2011. Plus, one of the team’s brightest stars, Adolis Garcia, kept the team going with insane home runs. Garcia even managed to achieve an astounding record for most RBIs in a postseason series with 15!
Arizona Diamondbacks Power Through to the MLB Championship
The Arizona Diamondbacks swept their opponents leading up to the NLCS and did their best to keep the momentum up while going against the impressive Philadelphia Phillies. Many baseball fans expected the Phillies to dominate, but the DBacks proved every hater wrong after coming back from an early 2-0 series deficit. Each team threw hard punches throughout the series, but the Arizona Diamondbacks hit harder to earn their spot in the 2023 MLB World Series. And while it took a full-team effort to get here, legends like Ketel Marte are making a case for NLCS MVP thanks to his multiple clutch RBIs and record for the longest hit streak to begin a postseason career.
